Crock Pot Chicken and Dumplings

After cooking in the slow cooker, the dish is thick and creamy. The dumplings are seriously perfect, similar to a drop dumpling. INGREDIENTS :
2 tablespoon(s) butter or margarine
4 - chicken
boneless thighs or breasts
1/2 cup(s) diced onion
1 cup(s) diced celery
1 bag(s) baby carrots
2 can(s) cream of chicken soup
2 can(s) Grand Biscuits (small cans)
1 teaspoon(s) salt
1/4 teaspoon(s) pepper
4 - chicken

INSTRUCTIONS :
Place chicken cream of chicken soup butter celery and carrots in the Crock Pot. I cut the chicken into bite size pieces. dd enough water to cover the ingredients. Put the lid on. Cook on high for 5-6 hours. uring the last 30 minutes cut biscuits into small quarter-sized pieces. Drop into soup mix. Cover and cook the last 30 minutes. Optional I add a tablespoon of parsley in the beginning. alt and pepper to taste.
