Holiday Cranberry Conserve
NeedTaste |Note What is Conserve Conserves are made with dried or fresh fruits and nuts and are cooked. They have a very thick and chunky texture. Conserves work very well as a spread and as a condiment for meats and cheeses. This recipe works well with pork or turkey.. This cranberry conserve may not replace traditional cranberry sauce during the holidays, but it will be a great addition to the table. It's slightly sweet and tart. We loved the occasional crunch from the pecans. It's a very versatile dish. It can be used with turkey or pork as suggested. But, it would also be delicious on a piece of savory chicken, over a block of cream cheese as an appetizer or added to a meat and cheese board. Yum
