
Pecan Pie Cake
NeedTaste |This is such an easy dessert.. This cake is seriously yummy. Served hot or cold, it's a great little dessert. We love the sweet and crunchy pecan pie topping. The pecan pie filling cooks into the butter cake giving the dessert a nice, chewy texture. Cut into bars, place on a plate and watch these disappear.

FOR CAKE
1 box(es) butter flavored cake mix (reserve 3/4 c. for filling)
1 stick(s) butter
softened
1 - egg
FILLING
1/2 cup(s) brown sugar
firmly packed
1/2 cup(s) corn syrup
dark
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
3 - eggs
3/4 cup(s) cake mix
2 cup(s) pecans
in pieces

INSTRUCTIONS :
Mix butter cake mix and egg with a fork or pastry cutter. rease and flour 9x13 inch pan. ress mixture into pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Remove from oven. o make the filling with together the filling ingredients. ix and pour filling over cake mix. ake at 350 degrees for an additional 30 minutes.
