NeedTaste |I needed to make a lot of pot roast, as I was having quite a few dinner guests. So I did it like this I've written this recipe how I would do it for a medium to large sized roast. I was unable to put the cooking times in as the cooking time will vary with the size of the roast and the method you are using to cook it. The accolades have still not stopped. The dinner was a huge success and even the in-laws and their side of the family asked for the recipe.. This recipe for roasted beef is super yummy. Honestly, I have never thought about using a tomato base to cook a roast like this. The tomato soup mingles with all the dried herbs. Fresh onion is really a nice touch to the sauce and adds flavor to the meat. The sauce is so good, I recommend pouring over the sliced meat. I used the slow cooker method and it was so easy. Your family and friends will love this easy dinner recipe.
